though i kept grumbling about having to work everyday, it also made me realise that i'm not ready for the working life, cause working daily definitely isn't something i prettaye much like, i was dreading it. though work time was really flexible, the problem lies with me, cause i'm unwilling to wake up early to meet my friends or i'm too tired to meet them after work. =/ Somehow i felt that i deserve some fun and slacking for this holiday after slogging my life off for the semester, but well, like boss said, i had to start early, so suffers now and gain later.

at least, at the end of the day, i learnt things that i haven't been taught in school.

the whole journey begins like that:
at first, i found the job rather unchallenging and bored, cause i was practically filing documents for the entire few weeks. =/ and it was SUPER BORING, but it really gave me an eye-opener of how much a person can do/commit. i was so glad when i finished closing all the files that were in a mess cause it meant that i would be learning new things.

and indeed, i moved on. i learnt how to operate the photocopier, the binder. (don't laugh okay, i really don't know how to use). i was taught the tactic of folding letters in a manner so that they will fit into the windowed envelope, seems easy, but take a while to do it.

then, i had hands-on experience on doing up divorce documents, mitigation plea and doing a submission into the efs system(electronic filing system) and of course i did all these under the guidance of hidayah(most of the time) and mrs ong(she's too busy). boss said we need skills to draft this documents and i had definitely not mastered the skills yet, i'm not confident with the content, the sentence structure, the phrasing, the way to make our client look positive. but i was glad, i could have a feel of what it is like, i mean, i did not know how or what are these documents are till i worked there.

now, i understand the different procedure of a divorce proceedings, i know how to fold letters so that they will fit in nicely with the address at the windowed space, i know how to operate the binder and photocopier, i know how to do submission, how to draft the necessary documents, how to transfer calls( i had problem with this, sorry mr chan!) and how the documents looked like, and what is like working in a law firm.

at the end of the journey, a big THANK YOU to mr ong and mrs ong for giving me a chance to work in ong & co.
